I’m thrilled to announce an important new chapter in my work – I’m writing a book! ‘Aging While Black: A Radical Reimagining of Aging and Race in America’ will delve into the complex, often overlooked intersections of growing older and systemic racism in this country.

This book aims to challenge conventional narratives around aging, elevating the diverse lived experiences and perspectives of older adults of color. By radically reframing how we think about the aging process, I hope to inspire transformative change – change that leads to more equitable, inclusive systems and structures to support aging Black people in our country.
